I didn’t do an “insta-friday” post this week. I was looking through my iphone photos and forgot how many pictures I took this past week. Maybe I will start doing a “photobooth sunday” post every weekend so I can share pictures from the weekend! These aren’t in any particular order, just total randomness!

Look who is learning to crawl!

Happy Friday!  Here is another glance into our hectic week, with potty training, having a teething infant, and temper tantrums..I would say I am ready for a good weekend! I switched up my iphone picts this week, using a new App called VintageCam.  So, maybe I should call this post Vintage-Friday? Hah! I was getting bored with my usual instagram, hope you enjoy!

Monday morning we met up with some friends at McDonalds for breakfast. They boys had a great time playing on the playground and slides. Sharon & I  got a chance to catch up with some much needed coffee. Here are some shots of our boys playing and wrestling.

Tuesday, we just hung around the house, playing games and catching up on laundry…not too exciting but, the boys had fun playing together. Tuesday afternoon, we headed up to the park to run around and let out energy!

David had Wednesday off this week. He and Logan went out for the afternoon, grocery shopping and running errands. They came back with tons of  legos to build and create. My kitchen table was covered in small legos a majority of the day, talk about a mess! ( don’t worry, we kept them away from Noah)

After a day of building legos, we went to Fudruckers for dinner. It was delicious, as usual. David got this huge burger, it was a little ridiculous, but, he did eat the entire thing.

Thursday, David was back at work, we cleaned and organized the house. I had invited our good friends Sharon and Dan over for dinner that night. We cooked BBQ, Mac n Cheese, and salad. It was fun having them and their boys over for dinner!

As most of you now know, David & I have set a date to finally have our wedding this June. I have been planning the past few months. While the boys were napping, I tried picking out invitations with some samples I had ordered, after seeing the price tag on most of them, I might just make my own. They are so dang exspensive- but very pretty! We have our theme & colors picked out. I have my wedding dress and some of David’s outfit. We have yet to pick out the venue, it will be a very small, intimate wedding. Backyard style. Oh, so many things to do! Now I know why brides become bridezillas! ;)

Friday we had playgroup at a place called Adventure Kids in Cumming. It was awesome! Logan had a blast as usual, and it was nice to catch up with some friends. Here is Logan in the giant sandbox & playground!

That pretty much sums up our week! Looking foward to the weekend, finally getting to see my family and go to church!

How was your week?

MamaSarah~

I realize I am so behind with my insta-friday posts! I will share the iphone picts I have accumulated over the last 2 weeks! We had a great week last week, Lots of time spent with Daddy, which was must needed. This week we potty trained Logan! It was intense but, well worth it. He is still working on accidents. Everyday is different, we are all trying to keep patience and love throughout this milestone in Logans life! Here are the picts I got during the 3 day training!

Logan started out using this little frog potty. I wanted him to use the real potty but, I wasn’t going to push him. This is what he was comfortable using so, we stuck with it. By the third day, he was ready for the real potty! I took this pict before we got started, thats why there aren’t any stickers on his chart.

Practicing for the real potty…Thank goodness for the Thomas the Train potty seat we found!

Here are the boys one morning at the Pediatrican for Noah’s six month checkup. Logan did a great job entertaining him. He weighed 19 pounds and is very strong and healthy! I am so grateful for his health!

We met some friends at Fudruckers one night for dinner. Logan had a blast in the arcade room with Daddy.

One afternoon, we loaded up the boys and headed to Roswell for a day of thrift store shopping. We looked at this double jogging stroller, something I want to burn off stress and that unwanted baby belly fat. We also found some vintage plates & silver platters for an uncoming event.  ;)

Playing at the gym one morning, this little booger cracks me up. He was making silly faces in the wall mirrors. I love this little guy to pieces!

Logan playing with his new numbers & letters we found in the dollar section at Target. He played with these for a long time!

Dinner at Moes, per usual. Can’t get enough chips and queso.

We had some warmer weather the past weeks so we woke up one morning and went to my favorite park, Sweet Apple Park. We walked a few miles and then played! Noah loves the swings now that he is sitting up so well!

After a week of potty training, cleaning up accidents, and a mountain of laundry…I am EXHAUSTED! Looking forward to relaxing and recooperting this weekend.

How was your week?

MamaSarah~

Well, 2011 is now at the end. Here are some iphnoe picts describing what we have been up to! It’s hard to believe its already 2012..Time flies when you have kids! The Days go by so slow but, the months fly by! After Christmas day, I was in a coma. I was SO exhausted, I had no energy to really do anything on Monday. We organized all of our new gifts & picked up around the house. I stayed in my pajamas most of the day. ;)

Scrubba, Dub Dub, in the tub!

Logan playing with his new Moon Dough game. This kept him occupied for 30 minutes! It was awesome.

We transitioned Logan into a larger size carseat since he is pushing nearly 40 pounds and is quite tall. The Easyride carseat was just too small for him and, Noah will need to move into it in the next few months. Logan LOVES his new big boy seat. Everytime we get in the car, he is so proud.

One day we went to our friends’ house for a play date. We had fun!

Friday night, David & I went our for date night. Since he was scheduled to work doubles on New years eve and New years day, we knew we needed to go out. We went up to our favorite bar, Hudson Grille.

Here is Logan eating and playing at PF Changs for dinner one night.

We spent one day going to the mall & doing returns, ate lunch, and rode the carousel. We had a great family day!

Happy New Year! How did you spend your last week of 2011?

MamaSarah~

My sweet, precious Noah, Happy Six Months!

You are half way to being a toddler! Oh lawd! From the beginning you have been a joy in our family. We welcomed you in July… You poor thing, you were born in the hottest month here in Georgia. When we were discharged from the hospital on the 4th of July, it was blistering hot outside. I felt so bad for you getting into that HOT car. I wasn’t too worried as we blasted the Air Conditioning. It was cute to just have you in a little onesie & socks. When Logan was born, we had to bundle him up from head to toe. It made life a little bit easier to dress you in just a few pieces.

From the begginning, you were a great eater & sleeper. You have been exlusively breastfed your entire life. You refuse to drink my milk from even a bottle. It is a very special bond that I value but, It can be exhausting since I can’t leave you with anyone else. The first 6 weeks of life were a bit challenging. You developed colic…You would cry a lot from anywhere from 5:00pm to 12:00 AM. I would just hold you, rock you, sing to you, feed you, bathe you…nothing seemed to help. I prayed to God about this and soon, he answered my prayers. You suddenly grew out of your colic and turned into a sweet, fun,and chill baby. Now you are very chill, Chill is good for mama! It can be very tough chasing around your 2 year old brother and worrying about you. You two are so good together, though. Logan loves you very much and he will always look out for you.

You have always been a chunky baby. Ever since your first well-checkup, you have been in the 98th percentile for weight. For height, you are only in the 70′s. You LOVE to eat. You are still waking at night to nurse a little bit, just once or twice. I started you on multi-grian rice cereal at 5 months. The breastmilk only wasn’t doing it for you. You were nursing around the clock just as if you were 2 weeks old. I introduced the cereal with some worry, I was skeptical about you developing allergies or digestion problems but, so far, you are great! You love your oatmeal mixed with milk or apple juice. Over the past month, you have tried, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Banannas, and Apple Sauce. I make your baby food from scratch, not baby food jars. I did not do this with Logan since I was working but with you, I get to stay home so I should save some money making your food, and it’s kind of fun!

Around 5 and a half months, you learned to sit up all by yourself! Thanks to this green seat above, The Bumbo really taught you how. You LOVE to sit up and see the world pass by. It is your favorite position, next to tummy time. the one thing you have never done or been interested in is rolling over. I have been a bit worried that you missed this milestone but, now I realize that its okay…its just not your thing. Since you are such a chunkster, maybe its just hard for you to roll your body weight around. ;)

You enjoy playing with Logan most of all. He is the ONLY one who can make you laugh. Your daddy & I have tried a million times but, the only thing that just makes you crack up is your big bro. You two are so adorable together when you play on the floor. He shares his trains and pretend tools with you. It is such a special bond. It nearly brings tears to my eyes watching you two play so well together. Hopefully,  you will always get along this way. Haha yeah right! Here are the six months shots I took of you today!

I love you Noah Kenneth! You are my little booger and you are such a sweet baby. I am so grateful for your health and perfection. You were such a suprise to all of us and we are so happy you are now in our family! I couldn’t imagine life without you!

Love,

Mama

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from our family to yours…

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Logan really understood what it meant to open gifts! He helped everyone else open theirs, too. Even though he doesn’t understand the true meaning, we keep reading the Christmas Stories & talk about baby Jesus, and we gave gifts because it was his Birthday.

We spent the morning at David’s parents,Brigett, Gary, Quincie, and Zach. We had breakfast casserole and then opened gifts. We had a wonderful time! We got some very nice gifts…They gave Logan a portable DVD player for long car rides, Thomas dishes, a remote control Thomas the Train. Noah got a stuffed animal and a big bag of Mega Blocks, which he has really enjoyed playing with! David was given some clothes, and a Burberry calonge- smells amazing. They gave me some beautiful jewlrey, some shoes, and a new Bag- I am obsessed, it is huge so I can pack as many diapers & wipes as I need! A big bag with two kids is key. Here are the shots from our morning spent with them!

Here are some photos, not in any particular order. The one below is of the boys opening their stockings at 6:30 AM on Christmas morning. Couldn’t they have slept in for me? Haha yeah right!

Here are the boys on Christmas eve morning, we attended church at 11:00AM. The service was amazing. They did a wonderful job with the Christmas Eve service this year!

Logan on his new spiderman bike!!! This is an awesome story. I have a friend who has a little boy around 5 years old. She has given me all of his clothes, toys, books, etc. ever since I had Logan. On Christmas eve, she had dropped this bike off for Logan! It was barley used, and training wheels are already on. We thought it would be cool to put it under the tree for Christmas. Logan woke up to a cool Spiderman bike in his living room. Thank you to my friend, Jen! :)

This was our”big” gift to Logan this year. It is a air craft carrier ship. It has about 50 pieces to it, ugh! I labeled a box for all of the pieces to this game, hopefully I will be able to keep it all together but, I doubt it!  There are airplanes, action figures, and other cool stuff. He really enjoys playing with it!

David gave me new jewlrey! Love the new ring, braclet && earrings! Sweet Man!

New wedges for next spring/summer. I love them so much, needed to share. ;) `

This gift was given to me from Zach! I have been wanting one of these coffee mugs, It has chalkboard paint on it so you can write what you feel, think, want, etc. And a new bag of coffee, he knows me so well!!! Thank you, Zachary!

After naptime, well, after Noah’s nap, we headed out the door again for my parents’ house.  Logan didn’t really nap…big mistake. We all ended up completley falling apart during dinnertime. I felt SO bad..my parents worked so hard on the meal and my children ruinend it! Of course, they understood and were very kind. They helped us get out the door ASAP so the boys could get in bed. Next Year, we will be staying home all day! Ugh! 2 small children makes anything nearly impossible. Here are some shots of our Christmas with my Family. :)

This is the beautiful dinner my parents made on Christmas night. Beef tenderloin, cheesy potatoes, aspargus w/ parmesean cheese and WINE, per usual. It was so delicious, a real treat for David & I. We never get meat like that!

My mom gave these adorable keys to Noah. Aren’t they neat? I love them since they are all hippie & cool colors. It makes all kind of noises and the keys are real metal. Noah totally digs them.

We were given some very nice, and much needed gifts. My parents love to help us out with the things we can’t always afford. since Logan was ready to upgrade to a larger carseat, they bought him a new one for his big gift. We were so grateful. They also got him several new sippie cups, clothes, and bath toys. Since the new Carter’s Outlet opened, Grandmas like to go shop for Noah there! Noah was given cute new outfits & booties! My mom spoiled me too, as usual. I wish she would stop now that she has 2 grandbabies. She bought me the eletric skillet- great for cooking fish and yummy dinners! She got me several very nice gifts but, my all time favorite is my new bathrobe. It is so poofy and warm, and hot pink! I never want to take it off. :) Thank you Mom and Don for all of the wonderful, generous gifts this year!

After re-reading this post & editing, I have realized how truely blessed and lucky we are. I would be nothing without our families. We have so many people who love and support us and our lives as young parents. I am overwhelmed with everyones generosity and so so so beyond grateful. I know I get carried away with life & the boys but, everyone reading this needs to know how much I appreciate you and your support, :) Merry Merry Christmas & Happy New year!

Bring it on, 2012! We are ready for another year full of Chaos, tears, happiness, stress, laughter & growth. But, dont worry- no more babies coming!

MamaSarah~

Happy Friday!  Or shall I say, Merry Christmas! Yes, Christmas is just a day away. We are very excited to celebrate this year since Logan is understanding the concept more than years past. He knows who Santa is, and he definatly understands what a Present is! Anyways, I’ll fill you in on what we have been doing the past week. I will definatly do a big post on Christmas, of course. This week wasn’t too exciting since Noah had a cold & runny nose..He just wanted to stay home & sleep. Here they are Monday morning in their matching Pj’s!

Monday, we skipped playgroup and met our friends, Sharon, Parker, & Mason at Cogburn Park since it was so warm out. We did a later playdate so afterwards, we could grab dinner at Chik-fil-a. Logan & Parker had a great time playing at the park, exploring together, and eating chicken nuggets of course. Didn’t get any iphone pics of this playdate, unfortuently.

Tuesday, Hmm let’s see, I wrapped presents all day! Did a little bit more shopping, with both boys in the double stroller. WHY do I KEEP doing THIS  to myself? I have got to stop since everytime it is a complete NIGHTMARE!

Wednesday, We had playgroup at Catch Air with some friends. Logan had a great time as usual. Noah sat up and played with big blocks & balls, too!

These are some of my favorite Christmas candles. Sparkling Cinnamon & Vanilla. When I light these, my mood completley changes. :)

The next picture is a shot of my homemade xmas gifts this year. I got this brilliant idea from Pinterest. Went to Floor & Decor outlet and bought a dozen rough surfaced tiles. Then, stopped at Hobby Lobby for pretty scrapbooking paper & mod podge glue. You glue the pretty paper on a tile, then add photos on top. Wrap with a ribbon, and then you have a little personalized picture frame. You then set the tile on a plate stand to display! So cute, and easy! Hopefully my family members will enjoy these. I did Christmas pictures of my boys individually and used those on the tiles! My mother did a similar project- heres her idea: She bought smaller tiles, 4 per gift and made coasters! Instead of scrapbooking paper, she used holiday napkins. She mod podged her tiles up with the pretty napkin & then added felt to the bottom of each tile. She wrapped 4 tiles up with ribbon & it made a set of  Holiday Coasters! Hers turned out super cute, didn’t get a picture of them, though.

By Thursday, I had caught Noah’s cold so, unfortuently, I stayed in my pajamas the entire day. Blah. I was feeling better by the end of it though, and did some more Christmas things around the house, wrapping..baking..etc.

Friday, We hit Walmart, Costco, and Khols for some last minute shopping. OOPS~ big mistake! Everywhere was slammed with people. I even got out early, 8:00AM for heavensake! We were done and home by 11:30, which was nice. My dishwasher broke this week. Talk about Torture. Handwashing dishes from 4 people for 4 days…not fun. Luckily, my stepdad is a genuis. He and my mom came over on Friday afternoon. My mom hung out with Logan and Don fixed my dishwasher! I was scared we would have to dump money into it but, he just flipped a switch and its running now! :) Phew!

Friday night, me and my best gal pal, Sharon exchanged Christmas Gifts! I went to her house and we had Margaritas and got Manicures! It was so much fun! I value her friendship so much and everyday I thank god for putting her and her family in our lives. They set such a great example to David & I, which we need sometimes! Love you, Sharon :)

Now, the week  is over but it feels like it is just beginning since Saturday is Christmas Eve & Sunday is Christmas Day! I will do a Post on everything that goes on this weekend!
